Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama will make her first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman next week, CBS announced Monday.

The First Lady will appear on next Monday's episode to discuss her Joining Forces initiative, which she launched with Dr. Jill Biden, and her plans for its upcoming one-year anniversary in April. Joining Forces aims to educate, challenge and spark action from all sectors of society to ensure that military families have the support they've earned.

While this is her first appearance on the Late Show, Obama has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She also recently guest-starred on iCarly.
