Katherine Mayfair is finally coming back to Wisteria Lane.
Former cast member Dana Delany, whose return was announced earlier this season, will appear in Desperate Housewives' series finale, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Katherine left the series at the end of Season 6 to run off to Paris with girlfriend Robin (Julie Benz). In real life, Delany left the Sunday soap to star on another ABC drama, Body of Proof, which just wrapped production on Season 2.
According to TVLine, which first reported the news, Benz will not be coming along for the ride.

Delany told TVGuide.com back in August that she would love to return to Desperate Housewives and seemed hopeful for a happy ending for Katherine after years of heartbreak that included her divorce from second husband, Adam, and the end of her engagement to Mike, who ditched her for Susan.
Desperate Housewives' series finale airs Sunday, May 13.
