Report: MTV Will Air DJ AM's Reality Show
MTV will air Gone Too Far, DJ AM's drug-intervention reality show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Although MTV told TVGuide.com that no decision has been made, a source told the Reporter that the network will air the program and has been in talks with DJ AM's family about the timing. The show was originally slated to debut Oct. 5.

The eight-episode series has been in question since the celebrity DJ, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was found dead in a New York apartment in August. Although an official toxicology report has yet to be released, preliminary evidence suggests Goldstein died from a drug overdose.
There is concern that airing the show could seem hypocritical or exploit Goldstein's death. MTV's sister network, VH1, recently shelved two reality series after one of the contestants was suspected of murdering his ex-wife.
