Eric Roberts, Linda Park

Starz has revealed the ensemble for Season 2 of Crash, its smaller-screen adaptation of the acclaimed film, and Dennis Hopper has some interesting new co-stars.

Eric Roberts (Star 80, Heroes) is joining the cast as Seth, a billionaire who aspires to bring a new pro football team to Los Angeles, while Julie Warner (Doc Hollywood) will play his gal Friday.

Also on board for the next round are Dana Ashbrook (Twin Peaks) as a charismatic gambler, and Linda Park (Star Trek: Enterprise) as a children's book author struggling to write a happy ending for her own life.

The final adds are Jake McLaughlin (In the Valley of Elah) as Bo, a former high school baseball star, and Tess Harper (Tender Mercies) as his mom.

Joining Hopper in returning for Season 2 will be Ross McCall, Jocko Sims and Moran Atias.

Production on the 13 new episodes is now under way in Albuquerque, N.M., with an eye on a Sept. 18 premiere.
