The script has been written, but there's still one thing missing from the potential Friday Night Lights movie: Coach Taylor himself.
During her appearance on Monday's Watch What Happens: Live, Connie Britton revealed that her former co-star Kyle Chandler isn't so keen on doing the film. "There's been a lot of talk about a lot of things. Some people are really excited about it and some people aren't," Britton said, adding that she personally loves the idea.

The actress explains that Chandler is hesitant to do the film because it's already been done before (the series Friday Night Lights was based on the 2004 movie, which was based on a book). "And he has a point," Britton noted.
FNL star Scott Porter, who played Jason Street on the series, has also expressed concerns about the film, telling Entertainment Weekly: "I'd put 50/50 odds on it. I'm so scared we would never be able to top the show. And I wouldn't want what we did together tarnished in any way."
