Comedy Central Renews Tosh.0 for Season 5

Tosh.0 has been renewed for a 30-episode fifth season, Comedy Central announced Wednesday.
Hosted by Daniel Tosh, Tosh.0 has become the network's highest-rated series, averaging 3.7 million viewers.

"Despite the fact that Tosh.0 has more viewers than any other show on our network, and that Daniel has totally catalyzed his fans online, we still convinced ourselves to pick up the show for another season," joked Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production at Comedy Central.
Added Tosh: "It's hard for me to get excited about anything when the Miami Dolphins look so terrible."
Tosh.0 returns for its fall season on Tuesday at 10/9c, concluding with its 100th episode on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The fifth season is expected to premiere in January.
