Clifton Collins Replaces Amaury Nolasco on Southland

Clifton Collins, Amaury Nolasco

Amaury Nolasco has exited Southland after filming three episodes and will be replaced by Clifton Collins, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Nolasco (Prison Break) signed on to the gritty cop drama as a regular last month to play the aggressive new partner of Regina King's Det. Lydia Adams. No reason has been given for his departure.

Collins (Star Trek) will play a new character named Ray Suarez, who is still being fleshed out.
