"I am a Disney geek!" proclaims Ginnifer Goodwin, and apparently her fondness for the House of the Mouse isn't just because she plays Snow White on Once Upon a Time. Not only does Goodwin say she visits Disneyland with her animator sister "at least every other month," she's always felt a kinship with the more royal residents of the Disney universe. "My biggest dream, for the past 33 years, was to play a Disney princess," she confesses. Now that the stunner has scored that long-sought gig on ABC's hit drama, Goodwin makes for the perfect pick to host the additional features on the Cinderella: Diamond Edition release (out Tuesday) on DVD and Blu-ray.
Among the extras on the gorgeously digitally restored set is an extra about the development of Disney World's upcoming Princesses-themed attraction, which gave Goodwin rare peek behind the scenes at the happiest place on Earth. "We are touring the construction site, talking to the Imagineers about the process from conception of an idea to finished attraction," says Goodwin, who was also presented with her own personalized hard hat, buried a Snow White memento within the site, and got to stay in the Dream Suite in Cinderella's Castle. "It is something I will never forget," she says. And if that wasn't enough, Goodwin also got the inside scoop on the theme park's planned Seven Dwarves Mine Ride (check out the video below). Looks like fairy tales really do come true!
