Christopher Lloyd to Help Raising Hope Pay Homage to Back to the Future

Raising Hope has booked Christopher Lloyd to appear in a Back to the Future-themed episode, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Lloyd will play a loan collector named Dennis Powers who calls on the Chance family about some old debt after Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) consider buying a new car. Might we suggest they wait until 2015 to make the purchase — you know when Back to the Future, Part II told us there would be flying cars?

The magazine reports that the guest appearance will put Lloyd in the driver's seat of a DeLorean — the car made famous in the BTTF trilogy, in which Lloyd played mad ahead-of-his-time scientist Dr. "Doc" Emmett Brown.
Lloyd, 73, most recently guest-starred on Fringe last season and will appear in the 100th episode of Psych which pays homage to another '80s movie classic — Clue.
Raising Hope airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
