Christina Ricci May Fly with ABC's Pan Am

Christina Ricci is in talks to star in ABC's drama pilot Pan Am, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Set in the 1960s, the project revolves around pilots and flight attendants of the iconic airline that ceased operations in 1991 after declaring bankruptcy. Ricci would join Australian actress Margot Robbie, who will play a flight attendant, and Michael Mosley (Scrubs), who will play a pilot, in the cast.

Former ER executive producer and writer Jack Orman wrote the pilot and will executive-produce, while Thomas Schlamme (The West Wing) is attached to direct.
This would be the first regular series role for Ricci, who has recurred on Ally McBeal, Saving Grace and Grey's Anatomy, for which she earned an Emmy nomination. She is scheduled to appear in two episodes of CSI later this year.
