Christina Aguilera has reportedly signed a deal to return for the fifth season of The Voice, according to The Wrap.
Aguilera, an original coach on the NBC reality singing competition, vacated her swiveling chair to focus on other projects, including promoting and touring in support of her album Lotus, which dropped in November.

Aguilera and CeeLo Green, who were replaced by Shakira and Usher, respectively, were always expected back for the fifth season. There's still no word on the fate of Green, who recently performed on The Voice.
NBC did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
