Chris Pine has been arrested and charged with drunken driving in New Zealand, the Christchurch newspaper The Press reports.
The actor was pulled over on March 1 after leaving a wrap party for Z for Zachariah, a post-apocalyptic film Pine had been filming in New Zealand.

According to a statement from the New Zealand Police, Pine had a blood alcohol level over the 0.8 legal limit when he was stopped during a routine early morning check near the South Island town of Methven. "Given that the matter is now before the court police will not be release any further information," the statement concludes.
Pine is due in court on Monday.
The manager of Methven's Blue Pub, Casey Crawford, said Pine was drinking beer and didn't appear intoxicated before he left at 2:30 a.m.. Transportation was provided for the patrons, which included Pine's Z for Zachariah co-star Margot Robbie, but Pine chose to drive instead.
