Brown, 24, is currently on probation after he was convicted of domestic violence against Rihanna in 2009. An arrest would be considered a violation of that probation and could result in jail time, CNN reports.
Earlier this year, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office said that Brown had falsified records saying he completed 1,400 hours of required community service stemming from the incident with Rihanna. He was also involved in an alleged hit-and-run after a minor car accident in May, but the case was dismissed.

In August, Brown's probation was reinstated and he was ordered to perform an additional 1,000 hours of community service.
Brown's next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 20, according to CNN.
