Looks like Rachel isn't the only one with a new rival on Glee next season.
Actor and musician Chord Overstreet has landed the recurring role of Sam, a McKinley High jock who starts off as Finn's protégé but slowly becomes his competition.

Overstreet, who has guest-starred on iCarly and appears in the pilot for ABC's upcoming series No Ordinary Family, will make his Glee debut in the season premiere.

Previously announced newcomers for Season 2 include John Stamos, will play a dentist and possible love interest for Emma (Jayma Mays), and singer Charice, who will play a foreign exchange student and rival to Rachel (Lea Michele).
