Chloe Sevigny to Play Lizzie Borden in HBO Miniseries

With her series role on Big Love coming to a close, Chloe Sevigny has already set her sights on her next HBO project, Deadline reports.

She is set to headline the miniseries Lizzie Borden, based on the life of the New England woman who in 1893 was acquitted of killing her father and stepmother with a hatchet, but was publically condemned.

Bryce Kass is currently working on the screenplay and the project will be produced by Playtone, which also produces Big Love.

Sevigny, 36, has starred on HBO's Big Love for five seasons, winning a Golden Globe award in 2010 for her performance as sister wife Nicolette Grant. The series finale will air on Sunday.
