The Walking Dead's Jeffrey DeMunn lives!
DeMunn will guest-star on NBC's upcoming drama Chicago Fire, Entertainment Weekly reports.
From Law & Order's Dick Wolf, Chicago Fire tells the story of the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department. DeMunn will portray a construction worker who gets caught in a traumatic situation and needs Severide (Taylor Kinney) to save him.

DeMunn is well-known for his roles on Dead, in which he played the ill-fated Dale, along with The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. He'll also appear in Frank Darabont's new TNT crime drama L.A. Noir.
Chicago Fire, which also stars Jesse Spencer and Eamonn Walker, will debut Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 10/9c on NBC.
