Bravo Announces Top Chef Masters Celebrity Guest Stars and Premiere Date

If Hosea's Top Chef victory last month left a bad taste in your mouth, news of the premiere of Top Chef Masters this summer may get you salivating again.
The spin-off series — in which 24 world-renowned chefs (including Wylie Dufresne, Rick Bayless and Hubert Keller) face off for charities of their choosing — premieres Wednesday, June 10 at 10 pm/ET on Bravo.
Celebrity guest stars and judges will include Neil Patrick Harris, Zooey Deschanel, Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis (yay, synergy!), all the past Top Chef winners at once, and — brace yourselves Lost-ies — Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof. Former model and food journalist Kelly Choi will play Summer Padma, and manning the judges' table will be New York Magazine's legendary critic Gael Greene, Saveur magazine's James Oseland, and Simon Cowell clone British journalist and broadcaster Jay Rayner.
Each episode will consist of two challenges modeled on the quickfire and elimination challenges of its parent show, though this show's quickfires will be judged blindly. New sponsor Stacy's Pita Chips will presumably replace "the Glad family of products" with its insidious omnipresence.
