Cheers to Terriers for saving a major surprise for its finale.

More than halfway through the Season 1 closer, the big bad behind the deadly land grab in Ocean Beach was revealed — a tech mogul played by the always-mesmerizing Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives).  Though it seems like the mastermind got away with murder, Hank (the Emmy-worthy Donal Logue) swore to "come after him for something else... with both barrels." What a second-season showdown that would be.

Sadly, it's unlikely we'll witness it, due to Terriers' terrible ratings; last week, the show drew a mere 0.2 in adults 18-49, albeit on the night before Thanksgiving. So let's give thanks for a terrific 13 episodes and wish Hank and his bromantic partner Britt (the equally extraordinary Michael Raymond-James) safe travels, wherever they end up.
