Cheers & Jeers: Nikita — Suddenly, Seymour!

Nikita

Cheers to Nikita for letting Aaron Stanford get in on the action.

His character, genius hacker Seymour Birkhoff, has mostly been stuck behind his super-computers while Maggie Q's titular ass-kicker and TV squeeze Michael (Shane West) perpetrate all the mayhem in the field. But this week, after he discovered that Nikita's ex-mentor, Carla (Erica Gimpel), was a mole for the nefarious Percy (Xander Berkeley), Seymour took matters — and a big ol' gun — into his own hands.

Of course, the deeply appealing Stanford (who first made his name as a teen who sleeps with his stepmother in the indie comedy Tadpole) is no stranger to action, having played Pyro in two of the X-Men films. After this week's impressive display of firepower from Seymour, one can only hope Nikita's producers let us see more.
