Fox's winsome freshman sitcom has found a love interest just as "adorkable" as Zooey Deschanel: Long's Paul can match Jess when it comes to endearing awkwardness. Who else would consider imitating Jimmy Stewart during sex to be a turn-on? (It's a long way from Justin's vocal role as Alvin in the Chipmunks film franchise, which continues soon with Chipwrecked.)
Long wasn't the only winning guest on last night's episode. Californication's sultry Eva Amurri (Susan Sarandon's daughter) did an amusing slow burn as Schmidt's ultra-competitive coworker, and SNL survivor Michaela Watkins earned big laughs as his uptight, pregnant boss. Unlike Paul during his ill-fated light S&M session with Jess, none of them choked.
