NBC's freshman sitcom hasn't been renewed for a second season yet, and it'll likely remain on the bubble until the network sets its fall schedule next month. But while its ratings have remained less than impressive — even after moving to Thursdays after The Office — the show has found its voice, creatively speaking, in recent weeks.
Last night's season finale heartwarmingly hearkened back to the pilot, as new parents Reagan and Chris (Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, both Emmy-nomination-worthy) celebrated their anniversary with a drunken night out sans their baby, Amy. Here's hoping NBC lets her grow into the terrible twos — and Up All Night to grow even more terrific.
