Charlie Sheen has reached an agreement with Colorado authorities over domestic violence allegations involving the actor's wife, according to The Associated Press.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin and Brooke Mueller Sheen's lawyer, Yale Galanter, told the AP a plea agreement has been reached, but declined to disclose the terms.

"There has definitely been a deal reached," said Galanter. "Brooke is totally satisfied with the deal, but if she had her druthers, the case would have been dismissed."
TVGuide.com's calls to the district attorney, Sheen's rep and Mueller's lawyer were not immediately returned.

The Two and a Half Men star pleaded not guilty to menacing, criminal mischief and assault charges following a Christmas Day argument with Mueller in an Aspen home where they were vacationing. Sheen's trial had been scheduled for July 21.
