When former Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels isn't kicking butts and helping people get fit, she enjoys kicking back and watching darker dramas.
"I am obsessed with [Dexter]," Michaels tells TVGuide.com. I think we all have a little bit of the dark side in us and Dexter gives us an opportunity to identify with the bad guy in a safe environment."

Michaels says she's a big fan of both Showtime and other cable networks. She counts Nurse Jackie, True Blood and Breaking Bad among her favorites.
"[Jackie] is a total sociopath at times, and yet, in her own way, no matter how unethical, finds a way to impose her own sense of justice," she says. "Breaking Bad [is] another dark and gritty drama. It's utterly suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire hour."
Michaels, who admits she doesn't like reality television shows despite previously starring in one, is also a self-prescribed "nerd" because of her love for The Universe on History Channel. "I love space shows. I am a total nerd. Einstein said it best: understanding the universe would be like knowing the mind of God."

Although the 37-year-old loves to watch television, don't expect her to act anytime soon — except maybe as herself. "I am not an actor ... but [if I had to choose a show to be on] I love Curb Your Enthusiasm and Eastbound & Down on HBO," she says. "Then I could play myself, but still have fun playing out a scenario."
