Elizabeth Edwards dies at 61 from cancer
Cate, 28, got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Trevor Upham, over Thanksgiving weekend after spending the holiday at the family's Chapel Hill, N.C., home.
Days later, Elizabeth ceased treatment of her breast cancer when she learned further treatment would be futile. She died Tuesday at age 61 after a six-year battle with the disease.
