Castle Exclusive: Gilles Marini Books Magical Guest Role

Is ABC staging a Castle-Brothers & Sisters crossover? Not quite, but Castle is borrowing B&S hunk Gilles Marini for a guest spot, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Marini will play Tobias Strange, a world-famous magician, who is one of the key suspects in the murder of a New York City magic-shop owner. His episode, titled "Poof, You're Dead," is scheduled to air in early 2011.
Marini, who turned his very revealing role in the first Sex and the City movie into a near-win on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars, guest-starred on Brothers & Sisters last season as a love interest for Rachel Griffiths' Sarah. He became a series regular in Season 5.
Laura Prepon joins Castle as Nikki Heat
Marini's casting follows that of Laura Prepon (That '70s Show, October Road). Prepon will play the actress portraying Nikki Heat, the character Castle (Nathan Fillion) based on Beckett (Stana Katic) in the film adaptation of one of his books.
