Keck's Exclusives: Will Carol Burnett Head to Malibu Country?

Carol Burnett may be visiting ABC's Malibu Country. "We are creating a role for Carol that she has actively expressed interest in," reveals executive producer Kevin Abbott. Burnett would play mom to Sara Rue's Kim, whose real-life pregnancy threw Abbott for a loop (she's due early next year). "We did not plan for this, so we are reassessing our story lines to work it in."
Burnett would go head-to-head with Lily Tomlin, who plays Reba McEntire's pot-smoking mother, Lillie Mae. Tomlin says she first met Burnett "when I was on Laugh-In and she came out of a bathroom stall and said, 'Oh, Lily.' I was just dumbfounded that she even knew who I was, and we've been friends ever since."
