Carnie Wilson to Host Newlywed Game

The Newlywed Game has found itself a new emcee: Carnie Wilson will follow in Bob Eubanks' shoes as host of the revamped game show, which tests newlyweds' knowledge of one another, The Associated Press reports.
"I've always loved game shows," Wilson says. "My personality and energy is perfect for something like this. First of all, I'm married, and I loved watching The Newlywed Game when I was younger. I watched it all the time. I always hoped the couples would start fighting."
This is the singer's second hosting gig for the network. Last year, Wilson co-hosted the interactive game show, GSN Live.
The Newlywed Game kicks off its 40-episode season on April 6.
