CW's Fall Lineup Adds Two New Shows, Shifts Schedule

Maggie Q and Ashley Tisdale

Two new series will join the CW's existing mix of youth-targeted shows, the network announced Thursday.

Nikita, a remake of the Luc Besson film and the '90s syndicated hit starring Peta Wilson, will follow The Vampire Diaries on Thursdays. High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka star in Hellcats — a cheerleading dramedy produced by Smallville's Tom Welling — which will run on Wednesdays after America's Next Top Model.

Fall TV Scorecard: Which shows are returning? Which aren't?

Speaking of the red-blue blur, Smallville will air its 10th and final season on Fridays, paired with Supernatural.

Gossip Girl stays on Mondays, following 90210, which moves from Tuesdays. The new Tuesday lineup will feature fellow former bubble shows One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected.

The network also announced that Plain Jane, a new reality makeover show, will get a summer run.
