Carrie Underwood Takes Top Honors at CMT Music Awards
Carrie Underwood took top honors at the 2010 CMT Music Awards, winning the buckle award for video of the year for "Cowboy Casanova," as well as performance of the year for "Temporary Home."
The ceremony, hosted by Kid Rock and broadcast live from Nashville, took on a more somber note as local musicians such as Keith Urban and Martina McBride reflected on the city's devastating flooding just weeks earlier. CMT and the website Rhapsody donated part of the profits made from the nominated songs to flood relief efforts.

Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson and the Jersey Shore cast helped bring the laughs. Thompson took the stage in a green dress and red wig to match Reba McEntire, who poked fun at Thomspon's impersonation of her. Later in the evening, Paula Deen got in touch with her "Joisey" side thanks to a few tips from Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who dubbed the celebrity chef "Mama Hoecake."
