CBS Sets Dates for Bruckheimer Medical Drama, Rules Return

Jerry Bruckheimer's new medical drama, Miami Medical, will check in to CBS' schedule on Fridays, the network announced.

The series, which focuses on a team of trauma surgeons, will premiere Apr. 2 at 10/9c, replacing Numb3rs, which will have finished its season by then. Miami Medical stars Jeremy Northam, Lana Parrilla, Mike Vogel, Elisabeth Harnois and Omar Gooding.

Jaime Pressly to appear on Rules of Engagement

The Eye's midseason plans also include a Monday-night return for the David Spade sitcom Rules of Engagement, which will kick off its fourth season on March 1 at 8:30/7:30c. Rules' return will send Accidentally on Purpose, the current timeslot inhabitant, to Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c, effective March 31. Purpose will take over for Gary Unmarried, which will have also completed its season.
