CBS Pulls The Job After Two Episodes

The Job

CBS is letting The Job go.

The reality series, from Survivor's Mark Burnett and Michael Davies (Watch What Happens Live), has been pulled off the network's schedule after just two episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Reality series Undercover Boss will reclaim its Friday at 8/7c timeslot beginning Feb. 22.  The move comes after The Job grabbed 3.4 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the adults ages 18-49 demographic Friday night. The week prior, the series premiered to 4.1 million and a 0.9 rating.

Fall 2013 TV Scorecard: Which shows are returning? Which aren't?

Hosted by Lisa Ling, the series chronicled different groups of contestants fighting for the chance to land their dream job. The Palm and Cosmopolitan were the first two companies highlighted on the program.

It is unclear when, or if, CBS will air The Job's remaining six episodes. Although the network pulled Made in Jersey, another freshman Friday show, after just two episode, the network eventually burned off its remaining episodes on Saturdays in December.
