CBS Plans Arranged-Marriage Reality Series

Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth

Unlucky in love? Dying to get married? Let CBS find you a mate. The network has said "I do" to the tentatively titled reality series Arranged Marriage, the Hollywood Reporter reports.

Arranged will focus on four singletons, aged 25-45, who let their friends and families select a spouse for them to marry — for real. Once legally wedded, cameras will track their marriages. The show comes from Magical Elves' Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth, who gave us Project Runway and Top Chef. Arranged follows on the disastrous heels of Fox's 2003 series, Married by America, which drew controversy from conservative groups. Fox was also hit with a $91,000 fine by the FCC for featuring pixelated nudity.

What do you think of the show? Will you watch, or even participate?
