Pilot Season: CBS Orders Comedy from The Muppets's Nick Stoller

Nick Stoller

CBS is teaming with The Muppets co-writer and Nick Stoller on a new comedy series.

The network has ordered an untitled single-camera project loosely based on Stoller's real-life experiences. The comedy would revolve around a twenty-something guy who gets his heart broken by his girlfriend only to wind up working one cubicle away from her at an ad agency.

Stoller, who co-wrote The Muppets with How I Met Your Mother's Jason Segel, got his break on Undeclared before moving to film. He also directed Segel's Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Katherine Pope and Peter Chernin are also attached as executive producers.
