CBS Replaces Rules With ¡ROB!; Sets Return Date for Undercover Boss

The sitcom with nine lives — CBS' Rules of Engagement — will be moved off the schedule once again to make way for Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider's new series, ¡ROB!, CBS announced Monday.

¡ROB!, which follows a lifelong bachelor after he marries into a close-knit Mexican-American family, will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 8:30/7:30c. Rules, which saw its season cut from 18 to 13 episodes earlier on Monday, according to Deadline, will return to that timeslot later this season.

CBS orders Rob Schneider comedy for midseason

Undercover Boss will return for Season 3 on Sunday, Jan. 15 at 8/7c, taking over for The Amazing Race. Race will return midseason at a yet-to-be announced day and time.

8-8:30 p.m. — The Big Bang Theory
8:30-9 p.m. — ¡ROB!
9-10 p.m. — Person of Interest
10-11 p.m. — The Mentalist

Sunday (beginning Jan. 15)
8-9 p.m. — Undercover Boss
9-10 p.m. — The Good Wife
10-11 p.m. — CSI: Miami
