CBS
Move over, William Shatner: It's all about Steve now.
CBS is developing another comedy based on a Twitter feed, to be produced by Ashton Kutcher, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In Focus: Talking $#*! — and dodging doo-doo — with William Shatner
Following $#*! My Dad Says' successful premiere (12.5 million viewers), CBS has ordered a pilot script for Shh ... Don't Tell Steve.
Boasting 13,000 followers — compared to sh--mydadsays' 1.7 million followers — shhdonttellsteve focuses on the plight of a man living with a drunken slob of a roommate. Case in point:
"Steve called in sick to work saying he ate a 'bad batch of wings' He DID eat a ton of wings but it was the Beam and Cokes that did him in."
Ratings: The Big Bang Theory explodes on its new night
Created by Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller, Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and Karey Burke will executive-produce.
