Bryce Dallas Howard and husband Seth Gabel welcomed their second child, her father, director Ron Howard, tweeted Sunday.

Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel was born Thursday, weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces. Beatrice joins older brother, Theo, 4. "Bryce and baby B are spectacular," Ron wrote late Saturday, adding, "daddy Seth & brother Theo are beaming ear to ear".
Bryce, 30, wed fellow actor Gabel (Fringe) in June 2006 after dating for more than five years. She most recently starred in 50/50 and The Help, which won Best Ensemble from the National Board of Review and is nominated for Best Ensemble Cast at the upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards.
