Broadway Star Rocks the Law & Order: SVU Set

Mitchell Jarvis, star of the Broadway show Rock of Ages, is joining the growing list of guest-stars on SVU's fall season.
TVGuide.com has confirmed that Jarvis will be in the fifth episode, titled "Hardwired." He plays Coach Simmons, a combination of "muscles and mustache with a twist of creepy," casting director Jonathan Strauss tells us.

Jarvis joins the previously announced Rosie Perez and Garret Dillahunt. The episode also marks the return of Jeri Ryan and Stephanie March. Ryan plays Defense attorney Patrice Larue, who is at odds with Assistant District Attorney Alex Cabot.
The eleventh season of Law & Order: SVU premieres Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on NBC.
