The casting of Peter/Spidey will be announced "very soon," the show's producers said in a statement.

Broadway's take on the webslinger begins previews Feb. 17, 2010, at the Hilton Theater. Music and Lyrics are by Bono and the Edge, and two-time Tony winner Julie Taymor (The Lion King) will direct.
