Brittany Snow is heading back to NBC: The American Dreams alum has scored a role in Kindreds, David E. Kelley's dramedy pilot for the network, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kindreds centers on a curmudgeonly former patent lawyer (Kathy Bates) and her team of misfit attorneys at a storefront law firm. Snow, who turned 24 Tuesday, will play Bates' assistant and a member of the firm.
The actress was most recently attached to star as the young Lily Rhodes in the Gossip Girl spin-off that never materialized.
