Brendan Fraser Lands Lead in TNT Drama Legends

Brendan Fraser is set to star in the TNT drama Legends, the network announced Thursday.
The Mummy star will play a government agent on the spy drama, based on a book by Robert Litell. The plot of the Littell's original novel follows a former CIA field agent who struggles with differentiating between his past cover identities, or "legends," and his real one. Fraser will also serve as an executive producer.

The series is helmed by Homeland producers Howard Gordon and Alexander Cary as well as Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow) and Jonathan Levin (Charmed). David Semel will direct the plot and serve as an executive producer.
