Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn
While Breaking Bad has charted Walter White's journey from Mr. Chips to Scarface, Walt's wife Skyler is taking her own steps toward a similar trip.
Breaking Bad: How far can Walter White fall?
When Skyler (Anna Gunn) finally learned that Walt (Bryan Cranston) was a meth manufacturer in Season 3, she kicked him to the curb. But after further consideration, Skyler asked to come on board. Besides using her bookkeeping experience to keep the IRS from sniffing around, she also suggested that Walt buy a car wash as a front for the business.
"Skyler is nothing if not pragmatic," creator Vince Gilligan says. "Of course, there's the old saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. You can be as pragmatic and smart as you can be and still be headed down the wrong path with your life."

As you can see in the sneak peek from Sunday's episode below, Skyler's car wash idea still rubs Walt's lawyer, Saul (Bob Odenkirk), the wrong way. But Skyler's refusal to take no for an answer (and her suggestion that the car wash owner, who is unwilling to sell, needs a Godfather-style "attitude adjustment") may just win Saul over. But how far will she go?
