Darren Star

Bravo is breaking new ground with plans to begin a fifth day of programming and venture into scripted series — including one about a power broker who's a drag queen by night and another following male hookers.

I'm Not Myself These Days comes from Sex and the City creator Darren Star and is about a married man who leads a cross-dressing double life. Room Service chronicles men who work as escorts out of a high-end hotel.

Bravo's new lineup: A Top Chef spin-off, more Bethenny Frankel and more

Bravo — known almost exclusively for its original unscripted programming —also gave the greenlight Wednesday to four new series, including the fifth installment of the Real Housewives franchise: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Other new series: Pregnant in Heels, about a maternity coach; Million Dollar Decorators, which follows Los Angeles interior designers; and Miami Social Club, a docu-series focused on the city's elite.

Bravo also picked up new seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Million Dollar Listing, Tabatha's Salon Takeover and The Fashion Show.

The cable channel has four new reality series in development. Around the World in 80 Plates and Commander in Chef both hope to build upon Bravo's success in the culinary world with Top Chef. On Around the World, contestants will go head-to-head in restaurants all over the globe, and Commander will feature established cheftestants in front of a live studio audience. Other new projects include a singer-songwriter competition series and a docu-series following recently departed So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Mia Michaels.

Also in the works: a two-hour special called Fashion Masters, in which well-known fashion designers compete.
