Sales for the former Britain's Got Talent contestant and YouTube breakout dropped 25 percent from the album's first week on shelves, Nielsen SoundScan reported. After enjoying the best sales week for an album in the U.S. in 2009 in her chart debut, Boyle's cumulative figures now make I Dreamed a Dream the country's 10th-biggest-selling album of the year. In total, the album has sold 1.23 million copies in the United States.
