Holly Hunter

Paging Albert Brooks!

Oscar winners Holly Hunter and William Hurt, who starred with Brooks in the 1987 romantic comedy Broadcast News, are reuniting for Lifetime's Bonnie & Clyde miniseries, Deadline reports.

Hunter, 54, will star as Bonnie's mother Emma Parker, who moves with her three children to Dallas after the death of her husband. Hurt, 62, will play Frank Hamer, the Texas ranger known for tracking down and killing Bonnie & Clyde. The miniseries,  written by John Rice and Joe Batteer, is based on the true story of the famous bank-robbing couple.

Oscar nominee Bruce Beresford will direct the project, which will air simultaneously on Lifetime and History.

Hunter will next appear in Sundance's upcoming miniseries Top of the Lake. Hurt most recently appeared on the small screen in HBO's TV movie Too Big to Fail.

Who do you think should play the famous couple in the miniseries?
