Blake Lively's Father Recovering from Car Accident

Blake Lively's father, Ernie Lively, was hospitalized Monday with back and lung injuries after his car tumbled over an embankment on an L.A. road. The Gossip Girl star and her family rushed to his side following the accident.
Despite the severity of the crash, Mr. Lively is in stable condition. "He's going to make a full recovery, thankfully," Blake's mother, Elaine Lively, told Us. "Yesterday it didn't look good."
"Blake is here, the whole family is here," she added. "We do not know when he will be out of hospital," she says. "We are just happy he is going to be OK."
Both of the Blake parents are in the entertainment biz: Ernie helped Blake achieve her acting debut in 1998's Sandman, which he directed, as well as played his daughter's on-screen dad in both installments of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, in addition to over 100 on-screen credits. Elaine is a talent agent.
