Blake Lively has been named the official face of Chanel's new handbag line, the company announced on its website.
"Her spontaneity and fresh, youthful image have convinced Chanel that she is the right person to represent the house and this range of bags," the announcement read.

The Gossip Girl actress, known for her fashion and style, recently graced the cover of Vogue's "Best Dressed" issue.
The "Mademoiselle" handbag line comes from famed designer Karl Lagerfeld. The campaign is set to launch in mid-March.
