Billie Joe Armstrong

Despite news that he checked into rehab over the weekend after an onstage meltdown, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong will still make his scheduled appearances on upcoming episodes of The Voice.

Armstrong signed on to the reality singing competition in July as a mentor for Christina Aguilera's team.

When announcing that Armstrong had checked into rehab, the band said that some of their upcoming promotional appearances would be canceled, but all of Armstrong's episodes of The Voice had been filmed in advance, an NBC rep told Deadline.

Green Day's new album, Uno!, comes out this week and is the first part of a trilogy, with the second album, Dos!, scheduled for release on Nov. 13. The band is scheduled to start touring in late November.
