Following his highly publicized haircut, the 17-year-old pop singer gave a lock of his hair to Ellen DeGeneres in a signed box with the request that the lock be used to raise money for a charity of her choice. The auction received 98 bids since going up last week.
DeGeneres will donate the entire sum to animal rescue organization The Gentle Barn Foundation, and the winning bidder will get to meet Bieber the next time he appears on The Ellen Show. However, the winning bidder was online casino GoldenPalace.com, according to its website.
