It's a good week to be Betty White.
First, NBC announced that the former Golden Girl will host Saturday Night Live on May 8. Now comes news that White, 88, will guest-star on the season finale of The Middle.

The four-time Emmy winner will play a school librarian who goes after Brick (Atticus Shaffer) over several overdue library books. The episode is slated to air some time in May.
Aside from her infamous Snickers Super Bowl commercial — which spurred fevered online petitions pushing for the longtime actress to host SNL — White was recently seen in The Proposal and in a small cameo on 30 Rock.
