Bethenny Frankel Gets Talk Show Trial Run

Reality star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel is getting a talk show — but only for a six-week trial period, according to The New York Times.

Warner Bros. and Fox couldn't get enough stations to carry the show next fall, so instead, Bethenny will be shown for six weeks over the summer on some Fox stations, the Times reports. If successful, Frankel's self-titled program could get a regular schedule by fall 2013.

"She's one of the most talked about personalities out there," said Hilary Estey McLoughlin, the president of Telepictures, which produces syndicated shows for Warner Brothers to distribute. "She's had late-in-life success, which I think makes her a real role model for women."

Frankel, 41, gained notoriety as a cast member on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City, where she remained for three seasons. Season 3 of her spin-off, Bethenny Ever After (titled Bethenny Getting Married? in its first season), premieres Monday, Feb. 20.
